Wendy Oliver

Since 1994, Wendy has supported teams, executives and organisations to achieve and excel in their aims through delivering bespoke development solutions, which realise and value people potential.  She works with CEOs’, MD’s and senior leaders.

She is described an enthusiastic and inspiring coach who has an intuitive, supportive yet challenging and motivational style. She uses a range of leadership tools and creative coaching methodologies in order to help teams / individuals identify and take the necessary steps to achieve their objectives.  Her ability to build rapport and trust allows others to expand awareness, build on strengths, challenge beliefs and behaviour, access motivation and energy, be at their best and achieve to their potential. 

Examples of her recent assignments include:

  • Designed a coaching scheme and personally coached over 30 Partners / Senior Managers improving retention, internal career development and leadership ability

  • Supported the increased engagement of a cross site team of over 100 people by facilitating engagement planning events

  • Coached Assistant CEO at major international bank to communicate more effectively with top team resulting in successful implementation of organisational strategy and improved relations

  • 12 week Manager as Coach training to 120 people globally in a multi-national company resulting in cultural change

Background

As well as working in consultancy supporting many different organisations with their people strategies, Wendy worked as Global Head of Talent & Culture for one of Europe’s fastest growing online technology companies.  Reporting to the CEO, she built the talent team and forged the strategic direction for recruitment, organisational development, HR and culture worldwide.

Prior to these roles Wendy gained her strong commercial acumen, understanding of organisational dynamics and results oriented approach, building and managing sales teams, securing new business and managing key accounts in the pharmaceutical and IT arenas for 6 years.

Wendy is an Assessor for, Member of and is an accredited (Master Executive Coach) with the professional body the Association for Coaching (AC) and is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD).  As well as numerous coaching qualifications, she has a Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy, a Diploma in Coaching Supervision, is an NLP Practitioner, and is accredited to use numerous questionnaires eg. Myers Briggs, Hogan, Strengthscope and Facet 5.  She has a BA (Hons) in Politics and International Relations.
